Unrestrained riding pleasure, even if you have to stop. The partial integral brake system ensures automatic brake force distribution with dynamic adaptation.

Dynamics and comfort: shift assistant Pro

Cruising instead of shifting: the shift assistant Pro is included in the optional comfort package. It enables gear changes in both directions without actuating the clutch.

Elegant detail: the chromed name plate

The shiny, chromed aluminium plate adorns your R 12 with its name and makes your bike recognisable everywhere - wherever it is you may go.

Modern vintage: the round instrument

The round instrument emphasises the retro character of the R 12. The analogue speedometer proves that you are riding a bike with history.

It may not be a heart of gold, but it is a very powerful heart: the popular boxer engine of the R 12 delivers fine acceleration on the road even at low revs thanks to its rich torque.
